“...Cursed is the one who trusts in man,
who draws strength from mere flesh
and whose heart turns away from the Lord....

“...But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord,
whose confidence is in him.
They will be like a tree planted by the water
that sends out its roots by the stream.
It does not fear when heat comes;
its leaves are always green.
It has no worries in a year of drought
and never fails to bear fruit.”
Jeremiah 17:5-8

We give lip service to our trust in God, but when things go to chaos, where is the first place we run?

Are your roots firmly planted in God? Or on man?

God is our sole provider. ALL things flow from his throne, out the gates of heaven and to His people. Wisdom, healing, comfort, love, provision... Sometimes He chooses to use others, but that is not who has provided your need. Make no mistake, God knows your needs far better than any human ever will. He's been a Father for a long time:)

Father remind us to call your name first in our time of need. Let us not just want from you, but want you. As you fill us with the spirit of your Son Jesus, we know that you satisfy any earthly longing that things here could never fill.

"He replied, “When evening comes, you say, ‘It will be fair weather, for the sky is red,’ and in the morning, ‘Today it will be stormy, for the sky is red and overcast.’ You know how to interpret the appearance of the sky, but you cannot interpret the signs of the times. A wicked and adulterous generation looks for a sign, but none will be given it except the sign of Jonah.” Jesus then left them and went away." ~Jesus
Matthew 16:2-4

My heart skipped a beat when I read this verse this morning. "...but you cannot interpret the signs of the times..." We live in a bubble. Under a protective rock here in North America. We go about our daily business unaffected by natural disaster, famine, mass inhumane death... and yet those are the very things that would keep us in the wait for Jesus return. Our blessings are really now a curse. In not experiencing trials, we have fallen asleep in the longing for Jesus return. We are lazy in our urgency for people to hear the gospel and respond. It sometimes takes years of courage to present Gods love. What if the harvest is before us, and the workers are not just few, but the workers are on break? or haven't even gone to the job interview to be hired?

Father, convict us heavily under your will to see all saved. Bring us through a time of repentance so that we can journey with you and bring the rest of the harvest You have prepared for your kingdom come.

“If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first. If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you...
...If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not be guilty of sin; but now they have no excuse for their sin. Whoever hates me hates my Father as well...." ~Jesus
(John 15:18, 19, 22, 23)
"To the one we are an aroma that brings death; to the other, an aroma that brings life. And who is equal to such a task?" ~St Paul (2 Cor. 2:16)
It should not surprise you when a word of truth is spoken from your lips and people despise you for it. It also should not surprise you when people hate you for no other reason than they recognise your unwavering dedication to truth, and the narrow path you choose to follow because of your love of the Saviour, Jesus Christ.
You must know that if you are a believer, and you have never felt hate or intolerance from the world for your beliefs than there may be something wrong. Jesus tells us on his way to the cross that the world will hate us because of Him. He goes on to tell us we do not belong to this world, but to a kingdom beyond this world, the eternal family of God.
"I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me... ~Jesus
Are you being the aroma of life or death everywhere you go? Do you recognise Christ in others when you are in public? Do you recognise evil around or in others? Jesus was either hated or loved, there wasn't any in between. In a world that offers tolerance, we are called to speak the untolerated. The Jesus of today is still either loved or hated. The message of eternal life, healing, relationship with the creator isn't a tolerance kind of message. You either choose it or you reject it. You cannot be inactive. And you will be hated by some when you speak it, in love, out of Jesus compassion for a fallen world through you. But to others you will be a lifeline to the eternal.
I don't know about you, but I am willing to be hated by the world to risk more Children in heaven. More rejoicing in Heaven, more of Gods pleasure on us, in us, for us. Grab all the ones you can as you continue to run the race. I want to explode through those gates clothed in my Jesus splendour, and wait in anticipation to see even the ones who originally hated walk through in full understanding of the the one to saves.
Jesus give us your boldness with the understanding that we are on a mission for you. Separate, refine, heal and release us to do what we have been created to do... love and be loved.

He made known his ways to Moses,
his deeds / acts to the people of Israel
Psalm 103:7
Are you satisfied with merely knowing and watching the act of God in your life, or do you have a longing to know His ways?
Are you content with experiencing His provision without ever knowing God Himself?
OR
Are you like Moses, who wanted to experience God Himself, not just God's activity?
Are you a person who wants a "friend" in your life for what they do, or for who they are? The very nature of who they are has drawn you in, what a shame it would be for you to experience their talent or share with them in their stuff, and never hear their heart, or know who they are.
God did not only send His son as a sacrifice for us to be welcomed into heaven, but to bring us into full knowing and understanding of Him, as in the garden. Do not miss the second half of that. Observe the acts of God, be blessed by them, but then look beyond them to the revelation of who God is.
It is far greater to experience the "who" of God than to experience the "what" of God.

"And being in anguish, he prayed more earnestly, and his sweat was like drops of blood falling to the ground." Luke 22:44
How can we expect God to change our world unless we enter into a place of prayer that breaks our heart as the Fathers heart breaks?
How can we know where Gods heart is at unless we enter into a deep place with Him of complete selfless surrender and abandon all else?
It is easy to say half hearted prayer for those around the world or in our own communities that are in need of a saviour. But would you risk your own comfort, enter into the pain God experiences, taste and see and feel what it is to truly love, truly sacrifice?
"We long for Petecost in our lives and in our churches, but there is no Pentecost without Gethsemane and a cross." (Blackaby)
We pray for change, for revival, for entire communities to be transformed, but we are not fervent, unmoved until God is specific and tells us to move. Wait upon the Lord. In the pain. In the pain of others. In the pain of others that God has... and will deliver us from if we allow it.
What is holding you back?
Father Give me a restless heart until it is satisfied, filled and unified with Your heart, the depths of your will and your love, for the ones that are still waiting to brought into the family by You. Help me enter into your presence in whatever state you require of me, and strip me from all selfishness. I am so sorry for my self centred way of life. Give us stamina and endurance in our prayer to you. Go before us today, and help us know what it is to love the way you love, and see things the way you see things.

Mark 14:3-9

While he was in Bethany, reclining at the table in the home of Simon the Leper, a woman came with an alabaster jar of very expensive perfume, made of pure nard. She broke the jar and poured the perfume on his head.

Some of those present were saying indignantly to one another, “Why this waste of perfume? It could have been sold for more than a year’s wages[a] and the money given to the poor.” And they rebuked her harshly.

“Leave her alone,” said Jesus. “Why are you bothering her? She has done a beautiful thing to me. The poor you will always have with you,[b] and you can help them any time you want. But you will not always have me. She did what she could. She poured perfume on my body beforehand to prepare for my burial. Truly I tell you, wherever the gospel is preached throughout the world, what she has done will also be told, in memory of her.”

"You will never know until Eternity all who received a blessing because of your righteous life."  Henry T Blackaby

My heart skips a beat when I read this.  It makes me want to do more, be more, strive harder, but then Jesus softly reminds its not about doing.  It is about being in Him.  As we come closer to the Heart of God, encounter his presence, the more you radiate Him from your life.  There is no do.  Acting out of who you are, your true, healing, on its way to eternity self in the growth of the Holy spirit that blesses others.  What you do will be an outpouring of who Christ is in you.  Slowly the you will fade, and the Spirit that has access to infinite love, wisdom, riches, joy, will work through you.  You will do out of being.  Being hidden in Christ.

Proverbs 27

Wounds from a friend can be trusted,
but an enemy multiplies kisses. vs.6

Perfume and incense bring joy to the heart,
and the pleasantness of a friend
springs from their heartfelt advice. vs.9

As iron sharpens iron,
so one person sharpens another. vs.17

Recently I have a conflict with a friend. It was heated, it was hurt-filled, it was unpleasant to have selfishness on my part be magnified. To have pride silenced and hear how blind self-centred-ness is part of my person still. It took everything in me to shut up, my own thought, the need to be right, the need to win, and listen not only to how I had offended, but how I had affected the other persons heart.

It is important in every relationship to repent after an offence has been made. This is the only way trust can then be rebuilt. God lives through us in our relationships. I was blessed to have her then tell me what a blessing through Christ ,I have been to her. I always thought that I had to do things to be a blessing. But through this conflict have learned that we can be a blessing by being, not always doing. By being everyday more and more of Who Christ has made us to be. By acting out of the place Jesus himself meets you everyday, it is an outpouring of blessing to others. It really only has to do with Us being in and through Christ.

This conflict in so many ways has been a blessing. My relationship with this person is stronger, Our significance in one another lives re-affirmed, and Christ's suggestion to work it out a glorifying testimony of our lives being lived out for Him. We need to commit to getting to the end of a conflict with our brothers and sisters. As painful as the journey might be to get there, we need to expect it this side of Heaven. Relationships come with deep hurting, heart wrenching conflict. God expects us to work it out. We are his family, and in this home we need to always work it out. It is not a suggestion, it is a command. If we are ever to gain ground here on earth, there must be conflict resolution, forgiveness.

Father let us not just do, but be a blessing to one another, and to your world. Let forgiveness reign, and do not let us do these things half way. Let us know your love for others in the fullest of ways and abide in your love, "so that they may see our good deeds, and glorify our Father in heaven."

"The United Nations reports this week that at least one young girl’s been “married” over 20 times — and forced at the end of each violation to undergo surgery to “restore” her virginity."
(Ann Voskamp)

I could not have been more overwhelmed my horror and total devastation after reading this blog today.

http://www.aholyexperience.com/2015/05/into-iraq-2-what-the-news-isnt-telling-you-why-we-cant-afford-to-pretend-its-not-happening-sozans-impossible-choice-and-our-very-possible-one/

Wake up.  There have been many times I have walked my own child to the bus with the thought, it will not always be this way.  Not said in fear, but knowing they will come.  They will come for our children, they will come for our heads.  Do not be fooled.  Evil is everywhere, in many forms.  Sexual evil is being done to children. While we sit on the sidelines in our comfy houses stuffing our already overgrown bellies our brothers and sisters, and their children are being sold, marred, and killed in the name of Satan.  No tolerance there.  I have said it.  We cannot be blind to this for much longer.  It will happen here, it is only a matter of time.

Evil is Evil, and it comes in all forms.  And is it the men we are to fight, no it is the Evil.  "For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms."  Eph. 6:12

How can we not be on our faces daily for our brothers and sisters being persecuted all around the world.  For them to be steadfast, they will be our judges one day. Our wealth was meant for His glory.  Obedience is completely necessary. Give.  It is a command for us to look after the widowed and the orphans.  Give.

“Do not lay a hand on the boy,” he said. “Do not do anything to him. Now I know that you fear God, because you have not withheld from me your son, your only son.”
Genesis 22:12

"Our difficulty is not that we don't know Gods will. Our discomfort comes from the fact that we do know His will, but we do not want to do it.

...The pinnacle of Abraham's walk of faith was when God asked him to sacrifice the one thing that meant more to him than anything else...

...God did not ask him to make such a significant sacrifice at the beginning of their relationship...

...Are you ready for Gods next revelation?..."
(Henry T Blackaby)

This morning I am hit square between the eyes from this one. As I ask the Holy Spirit to search out what God is asking me to sacrifice he has already whispered it as I ask. It is nothing physical. He has already mostly weaned me of those things. It is not something I can check off a list, or be measured in human terms. It will take every ounce of discipline in me to do, every piece of humble submission to overcome. It has been an area I have seen Satan use in a moment against me, and as healing takes place, I should have seen it coming...

An emptying of fearful need and the filling of acceptance. It is all in the moment, all obedience. Its a big one, perhaps the big one. It is a spirit language of agreement between the Father and I. A sobering reserve of sorts that must be done, as one place dies, and another is reborn. There is no try, there is only do.

Is there anything that he is asking from you today? A sacrifice to draw you closer? A sacrifice to bring Him glory? A marker, alter built as a landmark in time, build to the glory of our God. A reminder of his faithfulness, of what is yet to come. Hope.

Everyone's journey is different. I have been blessed beyond words for the family, and body of believers that God has hand picked and placed before me to be in community with, both past and present. In all of my wanderings it is hard for me to believe that God never left me, not even a head turn away from me.
Transformation takes years, and choice. Work and stamina. Love and grace, forgiveness and freedom. pain and Correction. Simplicity with Obedience. Watching someone who has become very dear to me transform before my eyes into the beautiful creation she has made to be has been the most wonderful gift. In love, demands are silenced, truth is left to the Father, and walking that narrow path becomes so much more of a calling than a behaviour. Blazing a way that has already been made hundreds of years ago comes into clear focus and the hand of a saviour offered is the lifeline into eternity.
In a world overtaken by evil, it is the opening of a flower surrounded by wasteland that gives hope to the masses again. Thank you, Dee God has used you to remind me of so many things I could have forgotten. So exited to walk this journey with you. You have taught me more than any book has, and corrected more than any teacher has. My view of so many things has blown the doors wide open, freeing me of the limits I had put on God. The road is long and the journey mapped out, you have taken His hand, the rest is already written in the book on you. A living book of life and freedom, a gift, a glorifying of the creator, through the Son, and with the Holy Spirit. Thank you for including me in this. Looking forward to heaven with you sister.
Man looks at the outside,
But God looks at the heart.

Far too often we are guilty of taking a snapshot judgement of someone's behaviour without having insight into their heart. Behaviour is a symptom of a belief. Beliefs can be based in truth or based in lies. We often judge others based on their behaviour. If behaviour is a symptom and not the cause, is it fair to judge?

Example: Someone talks too much about themselves. We assume arrogance is the cause of this. Look deeper. Arrogance is merely a symptom of the cause. The cause may be insecurity.

Next time you are tempted to judge based on a behaviour, ask God what that persons heart may be. Ask for compassion and grace and love, then ask what the persons heart may be. What is seen as negative behaviour is an direct result of deep pain and a false belief. Bypass the judgement to see a heart in need of healing.

God knows your heart. He is with you in your pain, He judges your heart.

Psalm 136

Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good.
His love endures forever.
Give thanks to the God of gods.
His love endures forever.
Give thanks to the Lord of lords:
His love endures forever.
to him who alone does great wonders,
His love endures forever.
who by his understanding made the heavens,
His love endures forever.
who spread out the earth upon the waters,
His love endures forever.
who made the great lights
His love endures forever.
the sun to govern the day,
His love endures forever.
the moon and stars to govern the night;
His love endures forever.

It is in the times of longing after the Lord that he gives me a song which often leads to a Bible passage.  Praise God this song will be in my head all day today.  (copy and paste into browser) As we search out the heart of the Father, let us remember that we serve a God that has made himself known, who wants all of us to have all of him.  Invite Him to be that for you today all of you in all of Him.  Stay in the marvel of who He is, reflecting all of Him through all of you.

On correction...
(you know it will be a great week when your first revelation is all about correction... Pray for me!)

"Wounds from a friend can be trusted,
but an enemy multiplies kisses"
Proverbs 27:6

..."But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet to warn the people and the sword comes and takes someone’s life, that person’s life will be taken because of their sin, but I will hold the watchman accountable for their blood..." Ezekiel 33:6

Also read story of Zacchues (Luke 19:1-10)

"Jesus loved His friends too much to condone or comfort them in their sin."
(Blackaby)

"Are you a friend of such integrity that you would risk wounding your friend in order to deter them from their sin?" (Blackaby)

This subject of correction WITHIN THE BODY has always been a difficult one for me. On one hand, we have the Holy Spirit to convict, on the other hand we all tend to have blind spots. So when is it ok to correct?

If I speak from personal experience, with being the corrected, I can say that the times I was corrected and as a result desired change was when I knew the person loved me more than I was loving myself, (Gods love through His people). They showed me that what I was living and doing were not who I was. They showed me that there was something much better for me, and I did not need to stoop to a sinful place to get what I needed. They always affirmed Christ in me. Their eyes were on Jesus, on the kingdom. Nothing was said with personal gain in mind, but for the glory of God.

Few things break Gods heart more than watching a child of his who has been rescued from drowning jump over the edge for fear of what may be on the boat.

Correction does not have to be a difficult thing. In fact I would say that we all need it for growth. I like to hear my correction from the Holy Spirit, but when I have a blind spot, I need to be attentive to hear what Jesus is saying through my brothers and sisters in Christ.

Father make us always drawing near to your heart. Help us to bypass potential hurt for the betterment of our relationship with you and the kingdom, and help us to only correct when it is offered to us as a loving word from you.

On expectations...

"I have found that when my anxiety gets too high I have some uncontrollable expectations on myself that may or may not be realistic. Shift your expectations to more eternal ones, ones that God gives you rather than the physical ones that others or you may not have any control over because they rely in some way on others. Set expectations at a very God centred place. An example of this, is, have I shown patience and love to everyone I am in contact with? Am I walking in the moment with God? Am I doing as God has asked of me? Am I more concerned with God approval of me than others? If all of our expectations are focused in eternal promises God has said he will fulfil if we do our part, then they are realistic and within our control. Unfortunately most of the time they are based in our obedience, and this can be very difficult... But the amazing thing about that is He has already forgiven our lack of what ever, and we are hidden with Christ..."

"You need to have thick skin to be a leader. Allow all insults and hurts to be filtered through the cross. Jesus has already taken on the pain of what that person said to hurt you, let the hurt stay at the cross, let it come to you without any feeling attached, assess, and if change needs to happen do it. Criticism from others is just a quick way of them telling you in their opinion you didn't meet their mark, their expectations. That's ok, because your expectations in yourself are eternal right?"

Saturday, 9 May 2015

I struggle.  I struggle with seeing things very differently and quite often the struggle is not welcome. I ask all the wrong questions in a world that seems to looking for all of the right questions.  But what makes a question right or wrong?  If a wrong question calls you out of your complacent sleep and awakens the dreamer in you, is it really unwanted? It is the questions that cause change, the questions that cause not so foundational thinking to come forward, resting themselves in a new line of probing questions that cause the issue.

I am leaning that "not what you ask but how you ask it"

As I desperately try to put aside culture, predisposed positions, and attempt to look at things through the eyes of God, the questions look more like wonderings.  Wonderings of human nature, these vessels he has made us to be, carrying around this precious gift of light, of life.  Wonderings of His heart in a fallen world, longing to be loved , longing for His kingdom come, as his creation groans for the end t be made new as it once was.

The struggle lessens in a questionable world.  The wrong questions, though different are answered in a place I could never touch alone.  The Wonderings are too overwhelming; all is silenced and responsibility lies in the Father asking, my God giving, in me, through me my soul rests.

Some questions are none of my business.  Some should never be spoken.  Sometimes the what and the how is silenced by I AM.  And that is more than good enough for me.

Thursday, 7 May 2015

So Jesus explained himself at length. “I’m telling you this straight. The Son can’t independently do a thing, only what he sees the Father doing. What the Father does, the Son does. The Father loves the Son and includes him in everything he is doing.
“But you haven’t seen the half of it yet, for in the same way that the Father raises the dead and creates life, so does the Son. The Son gives life to anyone he chooses. Neither he nor the Father shuts anyone out. (John 5:19-21, MSG)
Jesus recognised that his role was that of a servant. A servants role is to follow closely behind the master and go where he goes. Even Jesus did not make the assumption that He knew what was best in a situation. Jesus knew the Father so well that he was keenly sensitive to divine activity around Him, immediately recognising the fathers hands as they worked.
There is a difference between bringing God into our activity, and joining Him where he is already at work. It is possible that we are sometimes too busy to see where He is already at work, and miss serving Him; we may like rather, to make his purpose to serve us. Are we viewing our surroundings from our self centred perspective, or from Gods all encompassing perspective? How is God touching her today, is He comforting, is he convicting, is he searching her out? As you know and look for God you will adjust yourself to do as God is already doing in someone else's life.
Today, Father, I lay myself before you as your servant. Fill me this morning with all of you so I may go out to the world being all of you. Make me so sensitive to your spirit that my own needs are put aside for the betterment of your kingdom. It is an honour to be here to look on as you call those you have chosen to your heart. I love you more than life, thank you for all you are. Amen.

Deuteronomy is a book in the Bible full of the "how to" do life as group of people, as Gods chosen people. I started to read a specific passage this morning, and (like any good person with attention issues) found myself reading further and further into the depths of what this book of rules was asking of us, and promising to us.
What do these things mean for us today? Are these things still true for us today? How do we do what God had asked the nation of Israel to do a hundred and something years ago today? If God is the same yesterday today and always then there is a boatload, no... an ocean load of wisdom here for us to dive into and live in.
-More specifically I noticed God saying, "When I do this, you must do this..."
"Be careful to follow every command I am giving you today, so that you may live and increase and may enter and possess the land the Lord promised on oath to your ancestors." (8:1)
-What he would ask of them was a follow-up to what he had begun. Safeguarding them against the ways of other nations that would turn them away from God.
-The honesty in the book is staggering as well.
"The Lord did not set his affection on you and choose you because you were more numerous than other peoples, for you were the fewest of all peoples. But it was because the Lord loved you and kept the oath he swore to your ancestors that he brought you out with a mighty hand and redeemed you from the land of slavery, from the power of Pharaoh king of Egypt. Know therefore that the Lord your God is God; he is the faithful God, keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love him and keep his commandments. (7:7-9)
We can apply every single one of these spiritual truths today to our own lives. No, we will not run out and kill someone with a different belief then us, but rather safeguard our mind and our exposure to things other than what God has asked us to be part of. We can walk into new territories both physically and spiritually with confidence that God has gone before us to already begin the process he will see to completion. We are just to follow up with what he has already done.
I'm excited to explore these truths and what they mean specifically to me today, and corporately what they mean for us today.

Tuesday, 5 May 2015

..."and they said, “May the Lord look on you and judge you! You have made us obnoxious to Pharaoh and his officials and have put a sword in their hand to kill us.”
Exodus 6:21
Am I more concerned about the changes that will happen when I am set free from a habit or a situation, a lie I have believed. The Israelites were more concerned with Pharaoh and his potential reaction to Moses and his "let my people go" than they were concerned about pleasing God. They were upset with Moses for disrupting their life of slavery, that was their familiarity, the life some of them had only ever known.
I remember waiting in my sin, fearing the change that I knew would inevitably have to happen if I wanted to be free. Change of the unknown is scary. I am learning to trust God as each wrung from each chain is dropped from my body. Yes having those things removed can temporarily be painful, difficult, not what you may have expected, make you look silly, strip you of your pride. But this is only temporary to the beginning of a life in full freedom and relationship with Jesus Christ, in the eternal.
My Exodus from slavery, from Egypt has been a constant and slow moving journey. One, taking on obedience, for the potential of many. Comfort was not an option when you look at what God accomplished through His people. Comfort is not an options when you look at your full potential in what God is accomplishing in you and through you. Have you been asked to live a life of comfort? One step at a time, as you walk in step with the Lord. Don't put off what he has asked of you today. Be Obedient in the now, and trust that as you walk into the desert with him, He will be the soul provider in all you need.

June 6, 2014 was my first entry into this journal I bring everywhere with me... I have a strange

attachment to it, like a blankie, or stuffed animal. So many conversations with the Lord, so many

interesting questions answered, so many more to be answered. I have this silly fear that in not having it

with me, the wisdom I have learned from those times will somehow not be part of me any more. I am

then told that wisdom is given on a moment to moment basis if I am willing to seek it and hear it. Its not

the book I need to carry with me everywhere, but the one who gave me the wisdom in the book... and

rather than carry Him, I am carried by Him. Time to downsize that purse...

Saturday, 2 May 2015

He called out to them, “Friends, haven’t you any fish?”

“No,” they answered.

He said, “Throw your net on the right side of the boat and you will find some.” When they did, they were
unable to haul the net in because of the large number of fish. Then the disciple whom Jesus loved said
to Peter, “It is the Lord!”.......When they landed, they saw a fire of burning coals there with fish on it, and
some bread. Jesus said to them, “Bring some of the fish you have just caught.” John 21

It interesting to me that Jesus already has fish cooking for the disciples to eat, but invited them to bring
some of their fish as well. They would not have had any fish had he not made it so, and told them to fish
on the other side, showing them His way, and obedience is better. Meditate...

Jesus provides the fish for the meal, invites them to bring their own fish that he also provided and has
them eat together. I'm sure Jesus had enough fish to feed everyone, but wanted them rather to see that
everything comes from him either directly or indirectly. He has more than enough to go around, but
invites us to give back to Him what he has already given to us to use together. Beautiful...

Today Jesus asks me to share my life, the new life that is Gods through Jesus, in obedience with His
disciples. Come sit by the fire, let us listen, let us eat.

"At that time Jesus said, “I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these

things from the wise and learned, and revealed them to little children." Matthew 11:25

To be a little child, what qualifications do you need to have? Simplistic, concrete teaching and thinking,

innocence, a high dependency on others, blind faith, and I'm sure you can name a bunch of other

Is it possible for us to unlearn the complication of faith and allow ourselves to enjoy God as a child?

Jump with no fear; excited that he will catch you, ask and know that He will give you what is best for you,

rest knowing he has spooned you in his heart for safekeeping? Confess like a 3 year old, with no regard

of shame, just the facts... profession who gave you this joy with no fear of rejection, because who is most

important to you told you to do it... Obeying because its just easier to listen ...Leading with no fear

making followers...

As we jump into a sea of people that need to see Jesus through us, My prayer is that we do it as a child.

Simple and free...
